Finding a friend that will stick with you even to the very end is rare,this is the problem with our society today.
We tend to make friends with people that share the same interest as we do, but this is not what makes a good friend.
Ask yourself these questions=Will my friend tell me my wrongs?-- will my friend tell me the truth?
Hmmn: Real/genuine friends are really hard to come by this days.
Well here are some of the qualities of a good friend....

  1. HE/SHE IDENTIFIES THE GOOD IN YOU: some friends we keep are so mischievous that they even try to cover our potentials and even paint you bad before the world,some of them will even lead you to the dark just because they are afraid of your becoming greater than they will ever become. A good friend is a coach. He/She brings out the gold in you.
  2. HE/SHE SHOULD FROWN AT YOUR ERRS: A good friend should be someone who frowns and sometimes shout at your every mistakes and tell you to your face the truth at all times. He/She must not always please you,this is because what pleases you sometimes are things that are wrong for you.
3. STICKS TO YOU AT ALL TIMES: A true friend sticks to you even when all others run away. A good friend is a shoulder to lean on. He/She is a pillar that supports you. Just like the old saying goes: "A friend in need is a friend indeed".

NB: The friends you keep will either make you or mar you,so you must screen your friends with the above points and you will be on your way to having good and genuine friends you can trust.
Remember: He/She must be God fearing.
