Every human being could once in a while be in the valley of depression. What matters is How well one handles it.
Well here are some cure for depression....
1. Mingle and Jingle:
See a depressed man, that man is lonely. If you are one that gets easily depressed then you need to learn to mingle,and not just that, also jingle.
Catch fun and be happy,forgetting the causes of depression for you.
NB: Mingle with only those who can encourage you and not discourage you.
2. Take a shower:
Have you ever wondered why whenever you are depressed, you tend to run a high temperature?
Well if you put a metal into fire and it heats up, the only thing that can cool it off is water,this also applies to depression.
Although depression is a thing of the mind, but the container (the body) plays a great role in preserving the content (the mind).
3. Prayer:
Sometimes in life,the burden a man carries is greater than he is,which is why man needs help. There is one who can carry all your burdens and pains away if you could just trust in him. Accept him as lord and Savior and all will be well.
4. Recreation:
When one carries a heavy load on his head,such a one must of necessity rest a while before he continues his journey.
This means that you must find time to rest. This will lengthen your days and as well rid you of depression because about 40% of persons who get depressed are depressed as a result of fatigue.
NB: Being depressed is not a guarantee to go about smoking and drinking or living a riotous life. It is a time for sober reflection and re-evaluation of one's life.
