Greetings to you all in the mighty name of our lord jesus;Amen.
God made us a promise,i.e to enter into his rest,hebrews 4:1.for jesus said "i go to prepare a place for you",that is to tell us that there is definately a resting place after this life.
Have you ever wondered why people say "rest-in-peace"in a funeral?,it is because people believe and know that there is a life after now.everyone that dies is definately going to have an after life which is sure,but one thing i want you to understand is that there is a great difference between LIFE and REST.
A man could be living but might not be at rest,but rest means cooling off after a hectic day or work,ofcourse there is an after life but they come in two,(1)REST,(2)PAIN,Which of these two would you like to be in?.remember that we are here on earth for an assignment,and your rest depends on how effective you do your assignment.
The question here is;who is worthy of entering into Gods' rest?,the answer is;The person who believes in jesus,john 3:16.To believe is to have faith hebrews 11:6,and without faith you cannot enter into the rest of God.
I want you to ask yourselves this question;WHERE WILL I BE AFTER THIS LIFE(REST OR PAIN)?.
WILL I REST IN PEACE AFTER THE STRUGGLES AND HARDSHIPS I'VE UNDERGONE IN THIS CRUEL WORLD?.
Think and meditate on these questions and take necessary steps to ammend your ways,and i pray God helps us all in jesus name.amen.
