TAG Heuer today launched a TAG Heuer Carrera "NISMO" special edition watch to celebrate Nissan's return to the premier class of the Le Mans 24 Hours with the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO.
The TAG Heuer brand is synonymous with success at Le Mans. The world's greatest race is an integral part in the history of TAG Heuer from the 1970s with Ferrari, and of course with Steve McQueen and his Monaco watch for the cult LE MANS film.
For Nissan, Le Mans is the ultimate test of innovation and excitement, and it is proud to take on this challenge in partnership with TAG Heuer, whose logo features on the three GT-R LM NISMOs as they make their Le Mans debut in the LM P1 class.
The Nissan GT-R LM NISMO reflects a pioneering spirit that echoes with TAG Heuer – authentic Avant-Garde design. A revolutionary new car, the GT-R LM NISMO represents a true technological challenge, featuring a front-engined and front-wheel drive design.
Supporting a global #DontCrackUnderPressure campaign using the GT-R LM NISMO image, the partnership is now immortalized by the addition of the NISMO Special Edition TAG Heuer Carrera Caliber 16, featuring an ultra light black titanium case, which is one of only four special editions featured in the TAG Heuer range.

The TAG Heuer Carrera "NISMO" Caliber 16 Day-Date Chronograph Special Edition: 43 mm, sporty. Black with charcoal grey and red bands on the dial in titanium, micro-blasted with titanium carbide, which is extremely resistant and lighter than steel. This watch is equipped with the famous caliber 16 movement, known for its reliability and robustness. The ceramic bezel is scratch proof, with a tachometer for measuring average speed. Domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The case back is decorated with a Nissan NISMO decal. Soft Touch matt alligator strap with red top-stitching. It is water resistant to 100m.
