There are several sources of fear that causes us to fear in certain circumstances in our lives. (see: 3 sources of fear here)
I want to tell you that fear grows, just like a child that is fed well. Fear feeds on some things in our lives that in turn magnifies the fear.
Today I'm gonna be telling you those things that fear feeds on,and here they are.....
#1. YOUR THOUGHTS: You see the Bible says that "the way a man thinks in his heart,so is he"!
Your thoughts can be a weapon against fear or a nourishment to fear.
Negative thoughts grows your fear but positive one's eliminates it. (Read: 5 ways to eliminate fear here).
Change your thoughts and overcome your fears.
#2. YOUR WORDS: A man is weighed by his words. Show me a coward and I will show you a man that speaks little of himself.
Your words are so powerful to a point that who you are is a product of what you say to yourself.
If you speak little of yourself or you look down on yourself by your words I am here advising you to speak good of yourself.
Say to yourself I can do it through Jesus and you'll see that things will work for you according to your word.
#3. YOUR VISION: A man can only go as far as he can see,if you lack vision you lack direction in life and fear comes into you and makes you remain in a spot for long.
If you are without vision you tend to fear to think outside the box. you begin to hate new things.
Fear feeds on your vision too.
Don't be short-sighted!!!
#4. YOUR FEELINGS: If we all had listened to our feelings,we wouldn't have come this far in life. Fear feeds on our feelings all the time and that is why you must learn to screen your feelings to see if they are the right ones.
You may be called to do something you never thought you could do,that is the time that you begin to feel as if you will fail.
Work on your feelings and dislodge fear from your life.
Fear is a torment that we all need to conquer. God help us all (also read: 5 ways to eliminate fear....).
