A lot of us are living in the work and shadows of other people, we are just but shadows of our true selves. This then implies that finding one's self is of great importance.
Below are some sure ways with which you can find who you really are..........
#1. KNOW YOURSELF: One of the major questions that everyone is asking is.... "who am I"?
well I'll say that you are an express definition of yourself. you will find answers to your questions when you set your heart to knowing who you are, and this can be done by constant and conscious monitoring of one's self.
You need to know your likes and dislikes. you need to have a knowledge of yourself.
I'll give you a major key with which you can know yourself, and that key is the Bible. the more you study the Bible the more you know who you are meant to be in Christ. (Also read:benefits of being yourself)
#2. BE YOURSELF: We have a lot of people out there who have lived all their lives in the vineyard of another person, they don't know what it feels like to have their own (also read: ways to get your own Here)
My advice for people like that is they should stop the imitation and be themselves, there's a uniqueness in you that makes you different and attractive, all you need to do is to find that uniqueness and continue in it. I still insist that you should.... "BE YOURSELF". (Also read : benefits of becoming yourself)
#3. BEAT YOURSELF : The hardest entity to control on earth is the human race, we are so unpredictable that we can't even tame our own selves if desperate measures are not taken.
My friend, if you really want to find yourself you must beat yourself. you see; every human being is born into a world he knows little or nothing about, he doesn't even know himself and that is why we all must try to find out who we really are. and this can be done through constant scolding of oneself.
Always beat yourself when you are about to go astray.
