He was raised in a Godly home,he was taught to do good by all means,but little did he know that righteousness comes only through discipline.
To be able to say no to evil takes discipline and grace. We live in a world where evil is now preached and accepted.

Joseph had all it takes to mess around,the bible says that he is a prince charming both in physique and looks,but that did not get into his head, he purposed in his heart to stay clean until his time comes.
He understood that as a child of God, sex is meant only for the married and was willing to wait for his time.

You see; all these things you want to have now may lead you astray. If only you can wait through discipline, you will at the end have it in due time.
To abstain from all appearances of evil,you need to discipline yourself.
Righteousness requires discipline!!!
