"I am Kenneth Kehis.. A born again child of God. A trained missionary at the Redeem college of missions, ede osun state. Music is a passion for me.. I can't do without singing. It's a calling.. I have been in the music ministry for about 8years now, realized I was called into gospel 4years ago. And into full time music/missionary ministry in 2017..."

A brief interview with the writer and singer of this masterpiece exposed me to some important facts behind this song.

Kenneth told me what inspired him and here it is........

" I got this song 3years ago. during my theological school days, at the Redeem college of missions Ede Osun State. It was a Bible study evening class, while the parish pastor; pastor Sanmi was teaching about the "sovereignty of God", and suddenly the word came, You are God, all by yourself, so I started meditating on those words cos I knew God was about to release a sound to me. Though I couldn't get it down that moment, so later in the day on my way to the class for library hour, it came back so heavy on me, I quickly ran to my class where I had my piano, then I began to write, so I composed the song that moment. I was like wow! Went on my knees, thanked God as I usually do when I receive a song.. And went out to look for my friend Victor to come and hear, after he listened he was like wow. And requested that I sell the song to him. We laughed and the rest was history".
