Hello everyone!
In the 'Insight for today' I'll be talking about how we all can allow God do His duties in our lives. Well you might wonder if it is possible for someone to stop God from doing His duties? Well it is very possible! Though this is only applicable in ones life.
Note: You can stop God from doing His duties in your life, but you can't stop Him from doing His general duties!
The Bible verses below tells us how we stop God from doing His duties in our lives......
Luke chapter 12 verses 22-28
22
AMP:And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious and troubled [with cares] about your life, as to what you will [have to] eat; or about your body, as to what you will [have to] wear.
23
AMP:For life is more than food, and the body [more] than clothes.
24
AMP:Observe and consider the ravens; for they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn; and [yet] God feeds them. Of how much more worth are you than the birds!
25
AMP:And which of you by being overly anxious and troubled with cares can add a cubit to his stature or a moment [unit] of time to his age [the length of his life]?
26
AMP:If then you are not able to do such a little thing as that, why are you anxious and troubled with cares about the rest?
27
AMP:Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither [wearily] toil nor spin nor weave; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory (his splendor and magnificence) was not arrayed like one of these.
28
AMP:But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you [people] of little faith?
Our lack of faith restricts God. It stops His provisions in our lives.
We ought to have been better than who we are now. But we are still here in a spot maybe because we lack support or even funds. But this is not suppose to be so. We have a God who can do all things, but yet we are still wallowing in the mud.
It's not His fault but ours. We've stopped Him with our faithlessness.
This is a call to return to the school of faith. Remember "we walk by faith and not by sight".
Let your faith grow to a point where you can totally depend on God to meet all your needs.
When someone asks you..."How in the world will you be able to pay your bills? How will you get that capital for that business etc. You should be able to stand with unwavering confidence and say... "My God will provide".
Isaac asked his father Abraham where the ram for the sacrifice was, and he told him "God will provide".
Don't ever forget this. Always confess your right in Christ. Remember: "Don't stop God from doing His duties in your life"!!!
