Hello everyone!
In today's edition of "Insight for today" I'll be talking about 'Perception'.
Perception is a conscious understanding of things or events yet to come.
God in His infinite wisdom gave man the ability to perceive and read in between the lines. This gift of perception will help us a great deal if only we learn to harness and maximize it.
The truth is; everybody has this ability of perception, but not everyone knows how to use it. There must have been a time in your life when while you were in the middle of an activity, you sensed that something is going to go wrong, and it eventually did. Now at that point were you had that feeling that something was going to go wrong, at that point, I believe you may have wanted to stop and fix things, but it's possible you told yourself: "There's no need", and eventually a lot went wrong.
You see: we are the ones not paying attention to signals that are meant to give us guidance and warn us of things to come. We need to master this gift of perception.
Have you ever met a person and all of a sudden you felt so uncomfortable? Have you ever made a decision that got you all worked out? This are signs that you are making a mistake and need to review yourself.
To master the gift of perception, all you need to do is to concentrate. Believe that God didn't create you without a guardian instinct. Always listen to that voice that scrutinizes every of our actions and inactions.
Perception can help us avoid a great deal of heartaches and lots more.
The Holy Spirit is the perfection of that gift. With Him in the picture, nothing will take you unawares.
